Have you ever wanted to be an eagle, soaring over Big Bear Lake, Treasure Island, and the Southwest Shore Colony? Here is your chance to experience the feeling. Zach Fisher (Cabin 85) has shared some photos and video taken by a drone, which give you that beautiful bird’s eye view.
Part of the beauty of these images is the fact that there is much more water in the lake than there was just a few months ago. For starters, Treasure Island is an island again! Just since early January the lake level has risen from 18 ft. 3 in. below full to the current level of 9 ft 7 in. below full as of April 15. As more snow melts, perhaps the lake level will rise even further.
Thanks, Zach, for sharing these wonderful images of the Southwest Shore. View these images in the Photos Gallery of our website.
