Beginning this year, the Forest Service used email to send some of the annual bills for our Special Use Fee from the Washington Office, as a trial of a new billing process. My bill arrived by email in mid-December. Some other bills are being sent by mail, perhaps if the Forest Service does not have a good email address for the Permittee.
The designated permittee for cabins on our forest should have received the 2021 billing by now. If not, that individual should phone or email our Permit Administrator, Casey Shaffer [909-382-2872, or casey.shaffer@usda.gov ] and let her know that the billing has not been received. Be sure to clearly provide the tract name (Big Bear Tract) and cabin number.
